The wait is almost over. WoW Forever launches November 4, 2026, and Fuzion now has a home base to meet it: forever.fuziongaming.gg is officially live.

I had the pleasure of building this alongside two awesome collaborators, Cageymage and Centrifuze. We wanted something that does more than list a roster. We wanted a place that actually runs the day to day of a raiding guild, so officers spend less time juggling spreadsheets and more time pulling bosses.

Stay in the loop

News posts show up on the site and in Discord, so nobody misses a schedule change, a recruitment push, or a hype post.

Apply and get answered faster

Applications are managed right on the site, and officers get alerted in Discord the moment a new one lands. If you want to raid with us in Forever, this is where you start.

A roster that keeps itself current

The roster syncs with the Blizzard API. It already works with both Classic and Retail samples, so it is ready for Forever without anyone retyping character names.

Professions, handled

Professions sync from the Blizzard API if the game supports it (like Retail), and can be managed by hand where it does not. Need a crafter for something? The data will be there.

See who is live

Fuzion has streamers, and now you can find them. The home page spotlights a random live guild member playing WoW, and the Streamers page shows everyone at a glance. Drop in, say hi, and send some love.

Raid calendar, wired to Discord

The calendar integrates with the Discord raid sign-ups everyone already knows and loves. Same flow you are used to, now visible on the site.

What is coming next

We are just getting started. A few things on the roadmap:

• Battle.net login and self-service character claiming, so you can link your own characters
• Members editing their own professions
• A recipe-level professions page, so you can see who can craft what
• Armory and Warcraft Logs links next to every name on the roster
• Art and screenshot submissions with officer review

And there is more where that came from.

QuickAssist: My First WoW Addon

Follow your tank's target with one keypress, no macro editing required.

QuickAssist is my first WoW addon, and it fixes a small annoyance: every time the tank or raid leader changed, my /assist macro was wrong.

How it works

Two keybinds:

• Set Player to Assist: target a friendly player and press the key. Press it with no target to clear your choice.
• Assist Learned Player: targets whatever your chosen player is targeting.

Changes made in combat are queued until combat ends. Type /quickassist (or /qa) to jump straight to the Key Bindings panel, and you'll get a reminder at login until both keys are set.

QuickAssist is a fork of SimpleAssist 4.01 by Schnoggo, released under CC BY-NC 3.0. Thanks to Schnoggo for the original idea and code. What I changed:

• Rewrote it to work with the newer WoW API on WoW retail and Forever without errors.
• Players who share a primary name are told apart using their primary and secondary names.
• Added the login reminder and the slash commands that open the Key Bindings panel.
• Gave the keys their own QuickAssist section in Key Bindings.
• Assigned a new font with larger, easier-to-read messages when setting or clearing an assist.
• Stopped players from setting themselves as the player to assist.
• Removed the Request Assistance feature and its settings panel.

Tested on WoW retail and Forever only. Bugs and ideas are welcome on GitHub.

Just did a number of upgrades to various libraries used by the site. Please let me know if there are any issues, especially with styling and buttons or links not working. There were decent version jumps, especially with Boostrap, so it is possible something is failing that I have missed.

Made a few more small updates and bug fixes, primarily focused around the history page.

• Fixed syncing adding incorrect and old raids
• Fixed sequence getting reset on sync
• Fixed main status getting reset on sync
• Added class color to character names in the raids
• Added additional management controls behind the scences

Also made some minor tweaks to the about page tonight.

Additionally, I have recently resolved the sitemap not being updated properly, fixed some contact page issues, and added an rss feed. Sure there is a bunch of other minor stuff I forgot to mention.

I have mostly been working on getting the forums on my old Age of Conan guild site updated, cleaned up, and open again, not that I expect anyone to use them going forward.

Been thinking about some actual topics to post besides site updates here, so I hope to start doing something with that soon.
